Self-guided, Downloadable Scavenger Hunt for your family or group.

This three – five hour walk, meanders through Old Town St. Augustine with stops at some of the city’s oldest and most historic sites. None of the clues require entering any place that charges an admission fee, but if you’d like to visit some of these attractions you will get a better feel for the city. Be sure to grab a SEE St Augustine Guide Book or a Big Fat Coupon Book from an area attraction around town for discounts to the different attractions that we’ll be telling you about.

Recommended for age 8 and up.

This is a self-guided tour. You can do the entire tour in one day or spread it out for your entire stay. Do a little here and a little there so that you can take advantage of all of the attractions and fun side stops along the way.

This tour is available for guests of all ages. We recommend that participants be 8 years of age or older.

Lover’s Scavenger Hunt

Full of fun and romance for you and the one you love!

St. Augustine is a very romantic city. We even have a legend that says that if you kiss under a certain tree in St. Augustine that your love will last forever! Who wouldn’t want that? We have just the way for you to make this happen. You see, we were inspired by our good friend, Allie, with Simply St. Augustine. She told us that there were more than one or two “Love Trees” in our area and we have put together a Scavenger Hunt with fun treat stops along the way. (treats are not included in the price of the Scavenger Hunt) You must kiss under each tree. You must take a picture of that kiss. It’s totally up to you how you get around to each place. It can be as economical or as pricey as you want it to be. Here are your options:

  1. Your own vehicle. – Definitely the most economical, but it will be hard for you to park in some of the locations. Please don’t get a ticket. That would not make for a fun day.
  2. Call Explore for a ride. They charge $3 per person per hop. If they aren’t too busy, maybe you can get them to be your photographer at a couple of the stops.  We have listed their phone number right on your clues.
  3. Borrow Bikes from your B&B. – You can easily bike to each Love Tree.
  4. Rent Bikes from St. Augustine Bike Rentals 904-547-2074
  5. Rent Scooters or a Scoot Coupe – Remember that you will still have to find parking.   904-547-2074
